About The Event
The play follows three longtime friends—Serge, Marc, and Yvan—whose bond is tested when Serge buys a minimalist painting: a large, all-white canvas with faint lines. What begins as a debate over whether the painting is truly "art" spirals into a hilarious yet profound clash of egos, values, and insecurities. Their arguments reveal deeper tensions about honesty, loyalty, and the fragility of friendship, turning the painting into a metaphor for how we see—and forgive—the people closest to us.
