!”  Harold Lloyd was declared “the third genius” by silent film historian Kevin Brownlow in a documentary by the same name.  Harold Lloyd’s films out grossed his more famous contemporaries Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, and like Keaton, Harold Lloyd performed his own stunts. 

“Safety Last!” is best remembered for the iconic image of Lloyd dangling from a clock tower 12 stories above a Los Angeles street. Harold Lloyd and “Safety Last!” influenced the likes of Jackie Chan, Martin Scorsese and Robert Zemeckis.
