About The Event
Great improv requires great trust and safety. We need to feel comfortable with our scene partners to create outstanding performances.
In this unique workshop, we explore how the Principles of Consent--enthusiastic agreement, strong communication, and mutual respect--can make your improv scenes more dynamic, connected and safe to take risks. Discover how clear boundaries and mutual understanding can unleash higher levels of creativity and entertainment.

Beth Chiasson is a Lafayette native and theatre arts enthusiast. She began acting and improvising in 2024 and is a member of two Lafayette improv troupes: The Weaning Process and Mawgawita Babies, as well as a performer, production worker, and frequent volunteer at Cité des Arts, Acadiana Center for the Arts, Wonderland/Looking Glass Theatre Co. and the Heymann Center.
