Workshop: Storytelling Games

Join us for a workshop focused on improv games made for creating instant stories together! Silverbacks introduces a variety of narrative games, where players collaboratively create rich, fun stories as a group, building tales that are far more than the sum of their tellers' imaginations. Covers the rules of several different story games, techniques for working together to tell stories, and practices for performing group story games for an audience.

Dr. Nico Zaunbrecher has performed, directed and taught improvisational theatre in over 400 shows over the last 25 years. Starting with the still-running Cult of the Stage Monkey at University of Louisiana–Lafayette in 1999, he completed a Ph.D. in Performance Studies at Southern Illinois University–Carbondale, focusing on culture, theory and history of improvisation and spontaneity.
